IE actually was not releasing the page somehow. When Chrome hangs, I close IE, and Chrome instantly responds.

Apparently an DNS “A” record will send the query over to your pointed IP, but a nameserver reference will first attempt to resolve locally. A bit odd, but OK. I might delete my “A” records for the nameserver subdomains at company A, and go back to an DNS “A” record, to see if company B will resolve the namesever DNS’s (just to keep company A stuff minimal). Might be a good test sometime…. but who likes downtime?
